The Wolf On The Roof

Next to the uppermost part of our garden, that we call the upper terrace, is a large two-roomed shed. It is dilapidated and the roof is caving in over one small section. I have often seen a wolf-like creature on top of this shed, both during the day and at twilight. It’s a strange thing because even though it’s shaggy and has four legs like a wolf, it has no head. It’s more of a large furry mass above its front legs. I haven’t seen eyes, nose, or mouth either. I don’t feel afraid of this thing, but it is scary looking. I do feel that this creature is protecting the land.  I have heard that spirits can present themselves as anything they want. It may be someone who was associated with this property or the one next to us.
